I wanted to share another primitive craft that I had made a couple years ago in one of the online primitive craft classes I took at The Ragged Fence.
I love this little kitty, but thought it would be fun to give her a makeover:)
Meet Miss Shabby…

Oh, there she is! Aw Shabby, don’t be shy. Come out and say hi.

From just being primitive, Shabby turned into a primitive shabby chic kitty. Is there such a thing? :D Her original coat peaked through the white paint, so she looked grubby without having to stain her. I cut out little patches of shabby chic fabric and Mod Podged them on. I love the versatility of Mod Podge! Once it was dry, I sanded the fabric to soften it up, and stained the edges of the patches to grubby them up.
